For photographing of snow impressions
Snow impressions at the crime scene normally contain more information than can be recovered through conventional photography.
The wet and transparent snow will absorb light when taking a picture. The result will be an impression with insufficient contrast and without any valuable details.
Only to be used outdoors. Use proper personal protective equipment. Do not allow water to get into the container, keep the container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.

> Make a snow impression at the crime scene visible

As you can see, it is difficult to see the information on the track of the shoe, but it is possible to develop it so that you can see the track clearly.
The surface of the impression can easily be developed with the powder using a soft brush.
The powder will stack neatly on top of the surface of the impression, thereby allowing it to be photographed with much better contrast, recovering valuable details.
This technique works best on wet melting snow but also provides adequate results on cold frozen snow.
