> εDust Lifting Plate

For Lifting Shoeprint on Paper

The Lifting Plate works with our Electrostatic Dust Print Lifter εDust and is designed for lifting shoe-print on paper. Very often, the best shoeprints on paper they are the invisible prints, and with this plate you can secure these prints very easily with a top quality result.

Instead of bringing all paper found on the crime scene into the laboratory for searching and securing, you can now do this directly on the crime scene. Less unnecessary work with packing and registration of the evidence, will save you a lot of time. 


> The Lifting Plate Kit

The Lifting Plate Kit contains one Acrylic Plate 520 x 420 mm with Aluminium Ground, one light weight carrying case, one double Cable with yellow Alligator Clips for ground connection and a Black Probe for discharging the lifting film.

The weight of the Lifting Plate with all accessories is only one kilogram. High Voltage εDust+ Unit is not included in this kit.

 

> The Lifting Process

Place the Ground plate under εDust+  Unit as we show. Connect the red cable with High Voltage Probe and connected to the εDust+ after that connect the yellow Double Cable to the εDust+.

 

 

 

Connect the yellow cable with the Alligator Clip to the ground connection on the underside of the plate.

 

 

Place the paper you suspect has shoeprints on the Lifting Plate. 

 

 

Put suitable size of the lifting film over suspect shoe prints with the black surface facing downburst to the Lifting Plate.

 

 

Applying lifting film to lifting plate

Switch on the εDust+ Unit and apply the electrostatic energy to the lifting film by pointing the red cable probe to the film.

Air bubbles between the film and the object can easy be reduced with the “Plastic Flattener”.

 

 

To Discharge the electrical lifting film. Switch off the εDust+ Unit and use the black Probe from the Double yellow cable and apply the Probe to the lifting film.

Which in this moment is connected to ground via the double cable. This is for eliminating electrical shock.

Charging lifting film

Turn around the lifting film and the lifted prints can now be examined and photographed. We using low oblique light to get a clear good picture of the footprint.
